Nwa Calendar Of Events 2023 – After a few years behind the scenes due to this tragedy, the NWA Pride Parade and Festival will return in full force in 2022.
Friday night kicks off the weekend festivities with the Light Up the Lot Glow Dance Party outside Maxine's Tap Room featuring music by DJ Kiera Maserati, a Girls Gone BBQ grill, and fire dancing. 10% of weekend sales will benefit NWA Equity.

This Saturday, the street festival will begin at 11 a.m. with DJ Sipa performing on the main stage in the Walton Arts Center parking lot. Other big stage performances include DJ Dribblz at 12:45, 1:30. This includes the Dixon Davis Drag Show. and at 3:00 p.m., music by Days & Bree at 2:00 p.m., and music by Deepwood Mac at 3:30 p.m.

Also on Saturday morning, the NWA Pride Youth Zone will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a guided performance at 1:15 a.m., music by DJ So Calm at 1:45 a.m. , the music of The Misdemeanors at 2 p.m. . : story times are at 3:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

This year's Trans March will begin at noon and will make its way down Dixon Street to the main stage where other speakers will be speaking.
This year's NWA Pride parade will begin at 5 p.m. and will extend slightly from Dixon Street to Arkansas Avenue to accommodate the growing crowds for the annual event.

The Midnight Glitterville Party returns to this year's NWA Pride Concerts, scheduled at George's Majestic Lounge. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and DJ Tyler Moore, Dickson Divas, and Joe Pacheco will perform.

Local dance club C4 Lounge will host its annual White Party in honor of Pride on Saturday night. This year's event will feature the music of DJ SuzieQ. This month, join Music Moves for Soul Nite on March 19th at Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville for an intense evening of R&B and Soul music featuring artist Dee Dee Jones!
On April 15-16, MusicMoves is set to present the Arkansas Black Music Show, a two-day event celebrating black/African American culture at the Jones Family Center in Springdale. The Arkansas Black Music Festival features musical performances by Grammy-nominated Carl Thomas and Kirk Whelm, and many regional artists are scheduled during the event.

Austin, Texas, music non-profit, Black Fret recently announced the launch of a spring concert series in Northwest Arkansas. Along with The House of Songs, Black Fret will produce a series of twelve concerts at various venues across the region. During the first and second weekend of March, the April and May groups will work together on six free public and six private events throughout the region. Each show will feature the band Black Freight from Austin or Seattle playing with original NWA acts. The list includes artists such as Graham Wilkinson, Sydney Wright, Kalo James, Shayna Shepherd, Tony Kimmel, Bulk Odyssey, Pete Byrne, Beat Roots Revival, Western Youth and many more. Featured artists in NWA include Auralai, Bonnie Montgomery, BAANG, Jasper Logan, Meadow Makers, Willie Carlisle and Dylan Earl.
