Baruch Calendar 2023 – The Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP) is a one-year program for the professional growth and development of students with a strong passion for careers in technology. This program is designed to give students a greater understanding of the vast opportunities in technology and the soft and technical skills employers are looking for. The program will cover technology-related areas such as cybersecurity, data analytics and information technology.

The TLDP is sponsored by the Starr Center for Career Development at Baruch College and the Shulman Family Charitable Foundation. This unique program will provide professional development training, personal skills training, employer site visits, mentoring and project-based group internship experiences for Baruch College students who want to succeed in technology. The program is an opportunity for students to identify the skills they are looking for in candidates and how classroom learning can be applied in the world of work. Additionally, through the program, students will be accompanied by a technology mentor who will help them better understand the intersection of technology and business.

Baruch Calendar 2023

The aim of the program is to create pathways and accessibility for TLDP students to develop critical professional technical and interpersonal skills for a variety of professionals, employers and Baruch graduates. Through the TLDP, students develop many of the skills employers seek, including critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and oral/written communication skills. By being part of the TLDP, students learn how to find internship opportunities, gain a solid understanding of the vast opportunities in the technology industry, and what employers look for in potential candidates.
