Cwu Academic Calendar 2023 – The All-Washington Academic Team program recognizes and honors our state's best academics. Students who make Team All-Washington (All-WA) status reflect diversity, maintain high standards of excellence, and contribute positively to society. Their stories are often compelling, sometimes surprising, and always tell the larger story of the state's community and engineering college students.

This program has become a showcase in the engineering and technical college community because it honors academically outstanding individuals, individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in school and in the communities in which they live. This recognition demonstrates the commitment to state education and community service by those participating in state and technical universities.

Cwu Academic Calendar 2023

Phi Theta Kappa, International Honor Society for the Two-Year College University-USA Academic Team, was established to recognize and honor two-year students for their academic achievements and community and university service.

Cwu Academic Calendar 2018

In 1994, the state academic team was introduced as a way to provide academic and academic recognition to Phi Theta Kappa members, promoting promotion to two-year colleges. Students who are named to the All-USA Academic Team are automatically named to their state team.

In 1996, Washington State started the program. A steering committee consisting of community and technical college leaders, representing Phi Theta Kappa, public information officer of the two-year university and manager of the Community Council and State College of Engineering held the first review ceremony at the Governor's House. In the end, 44 students representing 24 communities were awarded a technical contract.

Currently, Academic University-Washington includes students representing 34 communities and technical colleges in the state of Washington. It has become a show program in the technical community and technical colleges that honors outstanding academics: those who have demonstrated a commitment to excelling both in school and in the communities in which they live. This recognition demonstrates the commitment to state education and community service by those participating in state and technical universities.

Applying To College

Public and independent four-year colleges and universities in Washington have recognized the outstanding achievements of members of the All-Washington Academic Team by providing a variety of scholarships. Below is a list of scholarships offered to members of the 2021 All-Washington Academic Team relocating to their institution.

Central Washington University will award $1,000 to each member of the All-Washington 2022 Team who enrolls at the University in the fall of 2022.

Eastern is offering a $2,000 scholarship to members of the 2022 All-Washington Team to attend college Fall 2022 through Spring 2023. If more than one board member is involved, Eastern will decide who receives the scholarship through a voting process. If the recipient has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5, the scholarship is renewable for a total of $4,000.

Eastern team members are encouraged to apply for the Transfer Academic Excellence Scholarship and the EWU Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship by going to ewu.edu/scholarships and clicking "Register Now!" Completed applications for the 2022-23 award are due on or before February 9, 2022.

State College Green Books is offering a $1,500 scholarship to every member of the All-Washington 2022 Team enrolling in the college.

UW provides tuition waivers to ten members of the All-Washington 2022 team who move to campuses in Seattle, Bothell or Tacoma. Each award will have a maximum value of $8,000 and will be distributed over two years (maximum $4,000 annually). Recipients must enroll in at least 12 credits each and make satisfactory progress. If more than ten team members attend UW, the university will decide who receives their letter.

UW encourages team members wishing to relocate to notify the university of their intentions as soon as possible.

Each year, Washington State University will award ten members of the University of Washington who will transfer to one of the university's campuses. The $2,000 workout is non-renewable. If more than ten team members participate at WSU, the university will decide who receives the letter.

Victoria Western Washington University recognizes the success of these outstanding students by guaranteeing a minimum of $2,000 in scholarship contributions to each member of the University's 2012 All-Washington Team.

Gonzaga University will consider all members of the 2022 University-Washington Academic Scholarships for meritorious services in the amount of $13,000-$24,000. Each student who has earned Phi Theta Kappa recognition will receive an additional $3,000.

Pacific Lutheran University is offering five $1,000 scholarships to members of the All-Washington 2022 Scholars enrolled in the Academy. If more than five members are registered, the PLU will decide who receives their letter.

The University of Saint Martin will award a $5,000 scholarship ($2,500 per year) for each University of Washington Academic member enrolling at the university. In addition, St. Martin's offers a $1,000 scholarship to PTK members who have completed an associate degree or hold a minor degree.

Edmonds College: Foundation: Give: 2022 Inspire Benefit

Seattle Pacific University (SPU) is offering the following elementary school transfers for 2021-22 (Fall 2021 to Summer 2022);

All of the above GPAs are based on the college's cumulative GPA, and all students must be fully enrolled to receive this scholarship.

In addition, SPU will offer a $3,000 Direct Transfer Scholarship and a $2,000 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship in addition to the basic ones listed above, which are renewable.

Edmonds College Recent News

The University of Puget Sound is proud to offer a $2000 scholarship to every current member of the All-Washington Academic Team who enrolls at Puget Sound. The scholarship is in addition to other academic studies the student is receiving and will be extended for a maximum of ten semesters if the student continues fully and meets the guidelines for satisfactory academic progress. Interested students are encouraged to notify the University of their intentions as soon as possible.

Walla Walla University is offering a $1,000 scholarship to every member of the All-Washington 2022 Academic Team enrolling at the university.

Whitman College is offering five $2,500 scholarships to members of the All-Washington 2022 Academic Team enrolling at Whitman. If more than five team members send, the university will decide who receives their letter.

Fall 2022 Application Faq's

Whiteworth University is offering up to three $1,500 scholarships to members of the All-Washington 2022 Academic Team enrolling at Whitworth. This scholarship is in addition to Whitworth's $112,000-$25,000 academic transfer scholarship. If more than three team members send, the university will decide who receives their letter.

Every community and engineering college with a student on the 2021 All-Washington Team is asked to identify their student with a photo and a brief biography.

The deadline for submitting biographical data and photographs is Friday, March 11, 2022. Submit the All-Washington Academic Team Student Bio form. Bios should be about 75 words. Images must be of high quality and contain only students.

Students who earn the highest All-USA Academic Team application scores in each state are named New Century Conservation Pathways Bachelors or New Century Transportation Pathways Bachelors. Students nominated for the Work Track must plan to enter the workforce after completing a bachelor's or associate's degree, and students nominated for the Transfer Path must transfer within four years of graduation.

The program admits 100 Scholars every year. Each New Century Conservation Path Scholar receives special recognition at a meeting of the Community College Trustees Association. Each New Century Transportation Line Scholar receives special recognition at the Association of American Colleges Convention.
