In a meeting held on Tuesday night, members of the school board unanimously voted in favor of the change. BVSD Spring Break was scheduled for the third week of March.

The district usually works with CU Boulder and other school districts to create the calendar, Superintendent Rob Anderson told the board, but when the BVSD 2023 calendar went through, other organizations did not finalize their calendars.
Anderson acknowledged that the change could affect families who have planned spring break for the past few days, and said the school district will ensure that students remain absent.
Andersen said, "…Going forward, as we work closely with the university and local school districts, we are committed to continuing to work together to cover as many breaks as possible."

Students meeting one of the above requirements must demonstrate residency; That is, they stayed in it for more than a year before the start of classes and established bonds that can be confirmed.
Our Tuition Classification 501 courses are designed for eligible, married or undergraduate adults who are applying for residency. Although not required, this course provides valuable information for older applicants. If you are unable to access the Buff Portal, please email @tuitclass@ for your next steps.
